INTRODUCTION
Mosrac received good news from the "S" company in June 2024. Mosrac frameless motors and surgical medical robots produced by the "S" company both passed UL Certification, which can be mass-produced and sold in the market. At the same time, it will start a new chapter for the cooperation between mosrac and the "S" company.
The "S" company is a leading medical device manufacturer, with headquartered in the United States with branches worldwide. Working with such a large and strong company, it's not only an opportunity but also a challenge for Mosrac Motor Co. Ltd.
In June 2023, the "S" company found mosrac when the project developer did a Google search. They were attracted by the high-performance features and wide motor options of the frameless motors on the website. Moreover, they also carefully checked the specifications and catalog. They found that several models of Mosrac’s BLDC frameless motors closely matched their needs and sent an inquiry to us.
CHALLENGE
Mosrac’s sales dept. took the inquiry seriously, carefully analyzed the customer’s application and details, and quickly responded to the client with the most related models.
The customer thanked to Mosrac’s efficient and professional approach. Due to the customer’s project requirements, mosrac signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with the client. Afterward, the customer was happy to share their design, pain points, and other details, which made the project progress smoother and more efficient.
SOLUTION
The customer confirmed the first batch samples of frameless motor, and the feedback is that the parameters and performance mostly met their needs. They need to do the second sample testing when making some performance improvements, where some special customizations such as speed, kt value, cogging, torque, temperature sensor, wire length, and more. The most important thing is that the customer had very high expectations for the size and weight of the motor, requiring it to be as small and light as possible while meeting performance. Finally, they decided to collaborate with Mosrac and have listed our motors in their supply system.

RESULT
In March 2024, three representatives from the "S" company visited Mosrac Motor, we had in-depth discussions on technology, production, and quality control between us.
The whole business consultation took over a year and thanks to the hard work of the Mosrac team. Now everything is settled, and the "S" company has completed all testing and evaluation of the frameless motors. They plan to start the first trial production of 1,000 units in September 2024.
